For forty years the names Norden Stamm and Jens Kollenberg have been associated with breeding typey, beautiful and functional working dogs. Whether DOBERMANNS, GERMAN SHEPHERD DOGS or BELGIAN SHEPHERDS (MALINOIS), our brood bitches are Schutzhund titled and most of these we titled ourselves - the vast majority being Schutzhund 3 titled.

Kennel vom Norden Stamm (licensed with FCI since1969) has bred reproductive, conformation and working champions for breeders and trainers in 29 countries on all five Continents.

Since settling on the Gold Coast, in South East Queensland, Australia, this elite kennel's focus has been on breeding program for showcasing the working prowess of the Malinois. Since 2005, whatever the discipline - whether it be Schutzhund, Kennel Club Obedience, Dancing Dogs, Tracking, Detection , as Military Working Dogs, Federal Police, in the Correctional Services, in the security industry or simply as family companions - Nordenstamm Malinois have proven they have had it all, and more!

For Malinois foundation stock, Nordenstamm Kennel imported the much celebrated Zico v.d. Berlex Hoeve IPO3, SchH3, FH2. Zico was no 3 at the 2003 FCI Championship and no 2 at the 2004 Belgium National Championship and no 3 at the 2004 Belgium Malinois Championship. Zico is a grandson of World Champion, Stoned v.d. Duvetorre IPO3, and a son of the legendary world-championship- contender, Turcodos v.d. Duvetorre IPO3, and is considered by many to be Turcodos's best son. Since then the kennel has incorporated the bloodlines of some of Europe's premier stud dogs, including Yagus v.d. Duvetorre (Belgium), Kasper Airport Hannover (Germany), Daneskjold Aragon (Denmark), Fred v. Brunsbeker Land (Germany) and Alf v. Nordhang der Eifel (Germany.)

The depth of quality in the kennel's imported female foundation stock is equally as strong, with foundation bitches Zita v.d. Berlex Hoeve (imp. Belgium) and Lilo v.d. Krähnenschmeide (imp. Germany). Both Zita an Lilo were bred before coming to Australia and whelped their i.i.u. "H' and "T" litters in this country.

The earliest Nordenstamm Malinois to hit the track running were the H-litter. Dogs from this litter quickly made their mark in a variety of trial rings and as Security, Prisons, Military and Federal Police dogs. At two years of age, Nordenstamm Malinois attending their first Australian National Schutzhund Trial (judged by Haruo Masuda - a two times World Champion) won the National High--in-Trial awards in both Obedience and Tracking.

Nordenstamm Hassan became Australia's first of 100 point dog in protection, is a two times Australian Grand National Champion (2008 & 2011) and is Schutzhund Australia's first Excellent-graded SchH3 dog (286 points) - the latter earned under 2011 National Judge, Peter Diedrichkeit (RSV2000/Germany). During 13 months of trials in Germany, Hassan also won the 2010 Westfalen DVG State Championship (with 288 points, the only dog at the Championship V-rated in Excellent), the same year attending the 2010 FMBB World Championship, placing no. 46 (the highest placed Australian entry at an international championship) as well as placing no 13 in the Obedience. In 12 trials over 13 months of trials in Germany Hassan was V-rated in Exellent seven times!

Four siblings from the Nordenstamm "H" litter are SchH 3 titled; Nordenstamm Hannah SchH3, IPO3, FH2 - twice winner of the Australian National H.O.T. Champion (2007, 2011) award and placing 12th at the 2010 Westfalen DVG State Championship in Germany. Nordenstamm Harley SchH3 won Australian National Champion Schutzhund 2 dog and was the 2009 Australian National H.O.T. Champion as well as winning National High-in Trial (283 points) the same year. Nordenstamm Halina SchH3, won 2007 National High-in-Trial Tracking.

Three Nordenstamm dogs swept the pool t at the recent 2011 Australian National Schutzhund Championship, winning Grand Champion, National Champion SchH3, National H.O.T. Champion, National High-in-Tria inl Obedience, Tracking and Protection, Helper's Choice, National Champion FH.)

Nordenstamm Malinois continue to make their mark in all areas of service and sport work they engage in; whether it be in Detection, in the Military Services, in the Federal Police, in Correctional Services, in the security industry, in Schutzhund, as Agility, Obedience and Dancing Dogs - 2 x Nordenstamm dogs are selected for the Australian Teams to Crufts 2012 - and not to overlook their conformation wins (Challenge & BOB) and their rrole as foundation dogs for developing other breeder’s programs in Australia and abroad.
